Robert J Chiaradio (pronounced sure-RAH-dio)
He joined FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. in November 1989
In May 1996, Mr. Chiaradio was ordered to the Tampa Field Office to serve as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge.
On December 11, 2000, Mr. Chiaradio was designated Special Agent in Charge of the Tampa Field Office and reported for duty on March 5, 2001.
After the terrorist events that occurred on September 11, 2001, Mr. Chiaradio was asked to report back to FBI Headquarters for a temporary assignment as Director Mueller's assistant.

December 20, 2006: WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration today announced the selection of Robert J. Chiaradio as general manager for operational plans and programs. Chiaradio’s responsibilities include the oversight and management of a multitude of security-related issues including screening operations, the national deployment and program planning offices, regulatory compliance, and training programs and procedures.
